This is known and on the plate of Santiago (also on this list).

The search tool is unfortunately very fragile... it is the one of  
Curriki and not ours... so little is made to make the one of curriki  
better... it will  be replaced. for now, better use the RSS to track  
the contributions.

I note however that I did get some results there while others have not  
which probably worse. Try first pressing reload (or alt-reload) then  
launching your first query.

That could be linked to the beta-survival guide that Santiago will  
come with soon.

save is done as part of the whole form in the button below.
An addition you've made to the pop-up should show right away in the  
form.
