Trouble is: the currikulum builder being too standalone is about to be  
retired so these things might get never fixed but replaced....

Additions always work if using return key and arrow-keys to select.
You might be bitten by http://jira.activemath.org/browse/IG-72
which says that mouse choosing and deletions fails to propagate.
That will be fixed soon.
